Objectives of the Charity
The provision of:
- Housing accommodation for beneficiaries i.e. older persons who are in need, hardship or distress who live within the area of benefit i.e. the City of Newcastle upon Tyne and the surrounding area
- such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents i.e. those persons living in the Charity's housing accommodation
- extra care facilities including residential care accommodation and facilities for beneficiaries, with a preference for residents
- relief in need for beneficiaries. The trustee has the power to make grants to and provide or pay for items, services and facilities for individuals, organisations and institutions, in so far as the income of the Charity is not required in any year for application in accordance with the objects outlined above
