- An applicant is not permitted to be in any form of paid employment
- Voluntary work is allowed
- Priority would normally be given to applicant(s) based on the following income and capital levels.
- Income: Not to exceed £183.00 per week (single) or £273.00 per week (couple). This sum excludes allowances or benefits due to disability
- Capital: All sources (including the value of a dwelling) not to exceed £32,000
- Each application is considered on its own merit
